do i have to close the lid?

No. You can leave the lid open for your whole float and keep the lights on. We’ll show you how everything works before you begin. You can change your mind or step out at any time.

WHAT IF I CAN’T SWITCH OFF?

You don’t need to clear your mind to float. It’s normal to spend some time getting comfortable, especially on your first visit. You can simply lie back and rest, even if your mind stays busy. There’s no particular feeling you have to achieve.

If silence feels unfamiliar, try leaving the music on for your first float. You can settle in without needing to experience everything at once.

what should i wear?

Your room is private, with its own shower and changing area. Most guests float without swimwear, but you’re welcome to wear a swimsuit if you feel more comfortable. Towels and toiletries are provided.

what should i bring?

If you wear contact lenses, bring your case. Otherwise, we provide everything: towels, earplugs, toiletries, and post-float herbal teas.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I ARRIVE?

Arrive 15 minutes before your appointment. We’ll show you to your private room, explain how everything works and answer any questions. Then we’ll leave you to shower and begin your float in privacy.

how is the water kept clean?

Between every float, the water passes through multiple filtration cycles using a fine 1-micron filter. UV light and hydrogen peroxide are also used to treat the water. Every guest showers before entering their tank.

can i sleep in the tank?

Some guests doze off during their float. The salt water supports your body, but buoyancy does not remove every risk.

Never float under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs. If you take medication that causes drowsiness, check with your prescriber before booking.

WHY USE EPSOM SALTS?

Epsom salt (Magnesium Sulphate) aid in muscle relaxation and provide the buoyancy needed for floating.

any preparations tips?

Avoid caffeine two hours before your session to help you relax. Refrain from shaving on the day of your float to prevent skin irritation. We provide Vaseline for minor cuts.

can i float during menstruation?

Yes. Follow the same precautions you would for swimming.

can i float with a friend?

Yes, but each person requires their own tank. You can book sessions simultaneously.

ARE THERE AGE RESTRICTIONS?

Yes. Floating is not suitable for individuals under 16 years old.

ANY SIDE EFFECTS?

Salt water can sting if it gets into your eyes and may irritate freshly shaved or sensitive skin.

Some people experience nausea or find light and sound more noticeable afterwards. You can end your float at any time if you feel uncomfortable.

how often should i float?

Start with one float and see how you feel. Your first visit is a chance to get comfortable with the water and surroundings. Returning can feel more familiar because you know what to expect.

i have a skin condition. can i float?

For mild conditions like light psoriasis, floating is generally safe. For severe skin issues or open wounds, consult your doctor before booking.
