A float is time in a float tank, which some people call a sensory deprivation tank. It's warm water with enough Epsom salt dissolved in it that you lie on the surface without effort.
At Float Planet on Dale Street, each tank is in its own private room with its own shower. The phone stays outside. The lid can stay open and the light on. Nobody needs anything from them for the whole session.

Then you choose when it arrives. Send it now, or pick a date for it to land in their inbox, such as a birthday or Christmas morning. No wrapping, no post, no trip into town.
The email gives them a code, which they use when they book their float.
It depends on the gift. The single float, Float Together and 3 Float Pack are valid for six months from purchase. The 5 Float Pack is valid for nine months, and the 10 Float Pack for twelve months. The expiry date is shown with each gift card when you buy it.
Very little. Everything is provided: towels, earplugs and toiletries. They arrive 15 minutes early, we show them their room and explain how it all works, and then they have the time to themselves.

Float Planet is at 97 Dale Street in Liverpool city centre. We've been floating guests here since November 2018. First floats are at 10am Tuesday to Friday and 12pm on Saturday, and the last float is at 6pm.
